Hey Guys, I was just wondering in your drawings, do your charcaters usally face the left?, right?, back?, front? I just noticed how people sometimes never have their charcater facing anything but left or right or front etc... I just thought it would be something interesting to discuss.

As for myself, I usally draw my charcaters facing the left most of the time but also balance it out with drawing some charcaters facing the right. I never draw a charcater facing forward straight on but always have the head tipping more to the left or right. I've also noticed that sometimes, depending on my mood, I'll draw more charcaters to the Left than right.

What about you?

I looked through my work to see if one direction was more predominant that the other--but it seems my characters face left and right equally haha

I recently realized that I practically always draw my characters facing to the left, in almost identical poses. xD

I'm trying to break the habit. xP

I draw them facing left. I think the tendancy to draw chars facing a certain direction has to do awith the hand you use when you write.

I use my right hand to draw by the way.

Nearly all my dragons face the left.

Left, because I am right handed.

For some reason, I draw a lot of humans facing with thier back to the viewer, but with my older dragons, they almost all face right.
