I realised that I haven't posted anything in a long, long time, so I thought I might make all your eyes bleed with my current sketches and WIP's.

I've actually started finishing pieces these days :O Shock horror, so hopefully, there will be updates if anyone is interested XD

So err, here goes I guess:



My current major WIP. Err...first time trying to do an actual background. I have no idea as to what I'm doing >.< Ref for bg is
here. I've tried to simplify it right down- And have started
roughing in colours. It should prove an interesting experience if nothing else. Also aiming for it to be lineless...possibly....maybeh....




Random illustration of a character. Doubt this will be worked on again for a long time- I don't know how to draw the bed thing that she's lying on. So
yah...stuck there.... XD




Kinda gift art, kinda half a trade with my good friend PurpleGlovez of her character Enondo. The mane
will be toned right down, and I hope to animate the shades and colours moving through the final piece...hope to XD




Gift art that I started for Nova Dragon/Nightfire of her character and mine laughing. I'm really having problems in making Nova (the taller dragon) look elegent and regal. Once I have it sketched out it will hopefully be finished quickly, as it is only gonna be a quick, rough piece.




My other main WIP- this has been mainly an educational piece on how to blend colours together. It's just a bust portrait and study of one of my species.

The detail and time you put into your pictures really shows, the fur quality is amazing. The anatomy is also amazing, thank you for posting these

I've been working on my gift art for the Nova Dragon :3 I've extended the whole image now ^^

I've got most of the lineart down now, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to draw Nova's (the taller dragon on the right) other horn >.< If anyone is willing, then red lines would be muchly appreciated <3

I'll draw in their feeties tomorrow XD It's 2 in the morning here and I are tired XD If anyone has any good ideas for those two that'd be grand ^^ Also need to turn Nova's wings to scythers :3

Colouring will hopefully begin tomorrow XD

^ That horn on Nova is still eluding me. I have no idea at all as to how to draw it :( Fixed Nova's wing, but still need to put feathers on it. Finished Ra'ds design.




^ A new piece that I started a few days ago, but haven't been able to work on properly yet. It was done in biro, and is being coloured in PhotoShop CS3 :3 He has a funky chin XD
I really like working like this, and I think I've finally found a way of going about drawing and painting that feels comfortable ^^

An attempted illustration from one of my favourite books, Legend by David Gemmell. This would be Druss, the main character. First time attempting to draw a proper male- he's described as having a blunt, flat face and a piercing look. Any suggestions for this?

Is gift art for a friend, Keahshu, who used to post on the original boards. Been working on this for too long now, and I need to get myself into gear and actually work on it long enough to finish it. Any tips on how to paint the background would be greatly appreciated.

This is called Sister Moon, and is something I drew months and months ago, and really want to colour. I'm totally stuck when it comes to the colour scheme and lighting. Any suggestions on this piece especially will be greatly loved <3 <3 <3

Well for the Sister Moon piece I have more of a critique than a suggestion on color scheme. Her arms are actually way too short for her body. The lenghth of her upper arm should be as long or well just a tad shorter than her ribs or at the narrow part of her waist. That should help the picture look a bit more balanced I believe.
