Ergh. Reminding myself why I always use monochrome and why I don't do people in this style. Frustrating, it is. Although I didn't really do much as far as sketching in the beginning, so that's really all my fault...

Very well done. While you said you don't like this 'style', I love how you painted it. Adds texture to the skin rather than just a plain, smooth surface. The color contrast is great too :] I personally love this.

Very well done. The highlight on the nose especially fascinates me. There may be errors, but they don't jump out at me ( though i didn't check the reference).
I like how you've handled the "paint".

I like the skin tones and color use.
There are a few areas that seem a little off, but the picture is much more awesome than you seem to give it credit for. The shading is great, and it really gives a sense of form to the face. The right side of his face is my favorite part of the picture. That eye, and the shading looks great.
It may have been frustrating, but I think it's a really neat picture. :)
