Took a break from the basics to fulfill a request to draw a fox with an unusual color scheme. I've never drawn an animal before... I don't know why but it sort of ended up looking like a wolf :(

To make up for my lack of fox drawing skills I drew human with similar color scheme.

Daw, the wolf is lovely! :) You shade real nice, and the moon is really cool. All I gotta say is that you could of cleaned up the edges a bit more, but other than that, I think you did a nice job :)

Ooh great job! I love the sketchyness of the line art, and I really like how you drew those ears and the person's nose.
Maybe it looks like a wolf because it's so big? Generally foxes are the size of a large cat, and this guy here looks almost bigger than the human. I'm not sure though, I don't generally draw canines.
It's a great job for your first try at animals, by the way. My first try at a fox turned out much more disastrous than this! Keep up the good work. :)

wooow i really really like the face on the person.. those features are just brilliantly done. i agree with the others, for a first attempt this is really spectacular! basically all i can say for crits is study references and see how real foxes work.

@ tayu: technically this gigantic beast is like storming the earth, and the little world in his paws is like a voodoo doll of a sort. When he pinches it, the earth shakes. He's also tearing around like a mad guy, so that's that, too. The people is just extras, so you know it's on earth. I currently have something saved, so I had to finish this in one sitting. :PPPPPP Crappy excuse, I know, but true.

hmm it took a moment to notice, it's really neat how the smokey parts are showing a degradation of the subject. \: C: the man becoming a skeleton, the cloth becoming tattered... very subtle, well done. It's also drawn pretty well; the hand, arm, scarf. The only thing that's off to me is the torso seems too long. I'm assuming the lower sash is supposed to be around the waist. I'd move it up by about the width of the sash itself.

Anyways, I'm actually really delighted that you noticed the degradation. I wanted a good deal going on in the image to draw the attention away from the fact that he's decaying. It's like real life in a way, because when you feel like you're dying inside, very few seem to notice. Only those that pay close attention will be able to see you suffering~

I might suggest going around the outside with the eraser to erase all the color outside the lines, it gives it a more, how do I say this, finished? look. At least, that's what I do. Welcome to the boards! Hope you have fun here. I like your dragon's design, especially the whiskers and those cool horns. My suggestions would be to do the outline in pen or watercolor instead of pencil, because it tends to look softer and neater. I think it will mix better with your paintery coloring.

Hi :D I'd say for a mouse pic, this came out looking really good. My mouse pics are just scribbles, lol. My suggestion would be to use the bezier tool to draw the lines. It makes things SO much easier and you can get quick, clean lines. Overall, nice pic and design :3

I didn't really try too hard on this, to be honest with you I was trying to figure out what half the buttons did on that paint program....I never used it before. I like the wide-opened eye and his pose - he looks like he just slumped there, but is still on an adrenaline high, teeth clenched aggressively.
Skullz > By the amount of blood, I'd say it looks like he killed two or three - because he seems like a messy killer. But only kenderkat know (or even then, maybe only the character does).

but yes he is a very messy killer. he's highly schizophrenic and his other personality, who he calls ram, is basically a big furry ball of pent-up rage and adrenaline. uwu luckily ram doesn't show up very often.

I assumed the alter killed savagely (got spattered), moved on, and killed again. So the main personality is schizophrenic, plus he has Dissociative Identity Disorder which gives him one alter as his anger outlet. Fun times.

it's entirely possible he killed several people, but it's equally possible it was one. he can be ram for anywhere from a few minutes to a couple of days, depending on stress levels and how long it's been since ram last appeared. he tends to linger on kills, ripping the carcass apart and sometimes eating bits (he is a dog, after all--mine seems guilty if she kills a bird without eating it, it might be a subconscious attempt to justify it), but he might just kill quickly and only get a little blood on himself from each kill.
