I think the chibi looks okay. Not bad at all. He's a little lop sided though: one foot is bigger than the other, and so is one of his arms/hands, it seems like. You could try balancing things out, next time. And i'd also like to see some shading. Try the pen or pencil tool, or if you're using one layer, just outline the part you want to shade, with the pencil tool, then fill it in with the fill tool, so that you can get some nice cell shading going on.
I would suggest using a less pink/purple color for the skin, maybe a bit more orangy, but not too orange.
The background looks really great, though, i agree. I especially like the little twinkly stars. Very nice job. :)

Very neat character/creature. I'm a little confused about the black and white striped thing withthe green dripping off of it... Is that its tongue? It would make sense if it were, but i think the teeth are closed to tightly for that to be possible. Unless it's got a gap someplace on the side of it's mouth there. :P
I like the purple rabbits foot/pendant around it's neck, and the ruby earring is cool, too.
I also like the bright pink inner ears: it gives a lot of lovely color to an otherwise pretty black-and-white creature (Excluding the eyes, of course. :3 )

He's a cutie.
I think he's a cat, and if so, i've got a couple tips about cat anatomy for you.
First, i think his nose is a little bit too far down his head. And cat noses are usually a lot smaller than what you've drawn here, so keep that in mind, too. Another thing, is his ears. Cats heads are quite round, and there's usually a bit of flat space between the ears. The way you've drawn the ears here almost seems like they're attached at the base, because they're so close together.

It's always helpful to look at pictures of what you're drawing, so you can get an idea of how they work and fit together. :)

The burn tool can be kind of evil. Some people are really good with it, but i've never really been able to make it look nice. You could try shading with a darker shade of your skin tone, instead of using the burn tool. Like this: [link]
The example shows the color tool, with the regular skin tone in the little circle. I usually use anything in that diagonal area that i've outlined to highlight and shade my skin tones. Sometimes i might take a more pink tone, if the shade is too brown, by just moving that selection circle on the rainbow bar at the side, up just slightly.

I think this looks really good, too. My favorite part is the red/brown patch on his nose, and the background. I think the background could use a little more detail/definition, maybe with the pen tool rather than the airbrush, because what you've got started there is beautiful.
The only other thing i would suggest is blending out some of those really harsh white spots on the wolfs fur with the watercolor2 tool, before adding the markings and fur texture. That way you wouldn't have any of those awkward transitions.
Otherwise, nicely done. You're certainly getting the hang of things.

THAT IS BECAUSE THIS THING HATES ME!!!!!!!!!

It took me a while as well, and if you watch the animation, I'm sure you'll understand. Well I wanted to add some texture right? But when I went to erase it, IT HATED ME!

And would not erase.

Being the idiot I am, I said, okay's we'll see if this works! Well it didn't, and now it won't load up, so I give you a halfway complete *Waaaaah* thing.

I dunno what he is, but he's cute. And there's the second thought right? "She thinks he's cute?" Well I do, so put your hand up if you think he's cute!!!!!!! >w<

Yes, he is cute, i agree. That bright orange fluff on his face,, ad the markings elsewhere are great. I also like his concentrated expression.

Thank you for the comments! I did have a go at this site like a year ago, but got lazy and only drew a few really bad pictures. XD. The problem with the dots was that it would erase to an extent, but you could sitll see them there. So of course, it was driving me mad! You can see above the right ear where I tried toe rase and it didn't work. It hates me... T_T

Ok so here is a bit of background on this guy:
Species: Sitzna-Tou, translation from the Zeirnian, Tusked Zinin
Home planet: Zeirn
Climate: mostly the grasslands where the Zeirzoans (Similar to humans) herd their Latka (like a purple pig) The spots break up it's shape in the blue-green grass.
Features: 3 hearts, 2 pairs of lungs, large earth treading claws, and powerful muscles help this predator achieve speeds of up to 90 mph! Barbs all over the body house a nerotoxin keeping predators at bay. They have no natural enemies other than themselves and the Zeirzoans.
Behavior: Males often compete for a herim of females (like lions) and the losers often die of the nerotoxin injected by their foes. (get over it! Nature is a cruel mistress! I just happen to be as well!) If they bite their prey but cannot catch it they will wait and use their powerful sense of smell to track down the animal who died of the poison in their spit. (much like a komodo dragon)

Yes! I have created the ulimate predator! I'm not really a mean person, if you believe me. I just love monsters like this sweety! Enjoy! I'll try to post a Zeirzoan next, they rock as well!

You're getting the hang of things.
i reckon she's smiling in surprise.
a tip for next time: dont bother drawing fingernails, they take too long and make the hands look funny.
i would make the neck a bit shorter, and i wouldn't put the lines there on a girl. on a guy, more likely. same thing with the arms. also, i think the shoulders are a little broad.
are you a boy or a girl, sycloe?
you are definitely improving, that makes me proud.

i like your new folds technique. It might help a bit too, if you used a bit smaller brush, because folds tend to get pretty small, sometimes.
The hands are really looking good, i agree. Hands are so hard to draw, sometimes. Just try to remember that the middle finger is a lot longer than the pointer, and the pinky is much shorter.
The hair definitely looks good. You could try adding some highlights in it, if you like.
And i noticed that she's got some hair on the right side of her face, that looks like it's blowing behind her head, but on the other side of her neck, there's nothing. Make sure you continue it right through! Her hair seems pretty long, so it would probably match up with the ends that are over on that side.
try taking a little more time to erase those little bits and peices that show outside the lines, especially in areas like the shirt collar, and arms, where the skin color is covering up some of the shirt color. Otherwise, Chrona has already mentioned some other good points.
Great improvements, and great job. :D

Likes: Cloudy days, stroms, thunder, instramental music, taking walks after a rain or storm, to be in love, good-heartedness, generosity...
Dislikes: Bright sunshine, deep snow, hot days, rudeness, really loud nosies(has sensitive hearing), running for long periods of time, hectic times, not knowing where his love went, stuborness...
Personality: Shail is a kind yet sad soul. He wishes nothing more than to be reunited with his love, who dissapered under misterious sercumstances, yet knows that she is probably dead. He likes stormy weather and rain. He thinks of it like nature's music. Shail likes nothing more than to sit and listin to the thunder, and seems to know when and where a storm or rain will be, as well as a snow storm or really hot days(which he hates). He likes company at times, yet would rather listin than talk. Shail also seems to get strange abilities when there is rain or a storm. His sences become greater, and seems to get telepathic abilites as well as healing. They increase in strength over time. He can also generate a roar that can be as loud as rumbling thunder!
