This is truly amazing. It's so cute and reminds me of the two collared dove chicks that had hatched and fledged a couple of months ago, after living their childhood underneath my bedroom windowsill on the security light...
I think that the colours are really pretty and the swirls look really sweet with the sparkly swirl at the bottom.

Age: Everyone is starting at 13...but my character turned out to look MUCH older then 13, so I'm saying she's 20. She'll be the oldie of the group. :c)

Birthday: 20th of March (Spring Equinox)
Species: Motilone
Class Type: Earth (My character specifically studies animals: habitat, social, etc. She's very in-tune with the animals)

in future though you might want to stay away from the pencil tool for lines if your shading is going to be this soft.

It's cute! I like the highlights on the hair and the cat ears and tail. The fish in the background is also cute. :) as for C&C... The girl looks a bit skinny around the waist, but you probably shouldn't listen to me for that kind of stuff. I can't draw people very well at all.

this is cute, i love the fish in the background and i really like the colours here too.
moo is right, her waist is a bit too thin, but i think it's mostly because her hips are at an odd angle to her shoulders and because of the lines you've draw on her stomach. i reckon her hips should be wider, and meet or maybe exceed the same width of her shoulders~
as for the lines.. i think you were going for the outline of either the hips or the abdominal muscles, like in this [link] picture? if so, pay attention to how the muscles and skeletal structure works around this particular area.

it's always a great idea to have a look at how bodies move in real life and how they're made :^)

I think that this looks cute. I especially like the hair. As for critiques, I think the color of her jeans are a bit too saturated. It would be better if they were a darker color, to make it actually look like jeans. The jeans also look too glossy. Maybe adding a bit of texture or toning down the highlights would help.

Her hand placement looks odd. You might have been better off moving them forwards- seeing part of them would make the pose feel less forced. Do you have problems drawing hands? I know that's what most young artists have troubles with (myself included), but the only way to get better is practise :)

Well, this is the most time I think I have spent on a picture, but great to be back! This is my character, that is sort of future-soldier related. I haven't yet decided what to call her, or anything really about her, except that she is a brave, feisty, tomboyish young woman. I drew her in my art pad a year or so ago now, when I was 11 or 12, and always wanted to draw her on the computer. First lineless drawing I've done! Hope you guys like it -

All the time you spent on this shows; it's really good.
The shading is really awesome. :)

As for things that you could maybe ameliorate next time;
I'd like to mention that her left hand is too small...
Also, her right leg placement make it seem like one leg is longer than the other, so that is a little awkward once you take a good look at it - but maybe it's just me. I'd also recommend using references for the guns/holding guns if you didn't do so already (guns are really hard to do).

as for the picture, i think it looks amazing, and as Tayu said you can really tell that you've put a heap of effort into it. the shading on the armour is incredible and i really can't stop staring at it.. i think her hair could've been a bit more diluted in this particular piece though; it's a bit too striking compared to the muted colours of the rest of the pic~

@ Taxuyaun (I hope I spelt it right) : thanks, for the help! I knew the hand was too small and told myself I would change it next time I edited my work, but of course, I completely forgot. And I see what you mean about the leg.
@ miles: Thank you so much, I love being able to relax and draw on NDA. I see what you mean about the hair, I did change the opacity before I saved it, to make it slightly duller, and added another layer (which muddles up the opacities). Again, I forgot. I think I need to go to bed slightly earlier...

I agree with Tayu. Also, the pose looks a bit unbalanced, like she's going to fall over. It's probably because her upper body is leaning too much, but I'm not sure. Otherwise, I like this piece and it has a very nice color scheme.

Thanks, I am going through a phase where I really like wine red at the moment (?). This might be me, but I don't think that she looks like she is going to fall over because she has her leg stepping back to support her. But you are probably right. this is really nice *-* i like the white lines. it makes the picture seem more wintery in a way.
i really like the hair too, and the ear is also really nicely drawn. there's a great mood to this piece and i think the simple blurred snowfall is really effective and adds to the overall atmosphere.

Well whats at the front is a mask that I first started yesturday and it evolved in to this. It sort of reminds me of spiderman a bit. Though it did turn out a lot better on paper than computer as always. Though it could be worse.
