I left this sitting out a few times....anyway, new OC. Well, he's not really new, I just haven't drawn him on NDA yet. His name is Andro, and he's the sidekick of Drune. He's really odd because he has round ears....and no one knows why. And he's supposedly mute, which is really useful for a sidekick, no? He helps Drune carry out his evil schemes, and occasionally kidnaps Lusha for him. He's actually quite mysterious, no one knows his history. He hides his emotions, and likes to wear a scarf that he sometimes uses to partially cover his face. He's extremely good at tracking animals....and people through the forest. He's also really strong, and not someone you would want to fight...
On a side note, I tried smoother shading with the watercolor tool instead of flat cel shading. Also, the light shining on his shirt and on the trees is supposed to be light shining through the leaves. Ok, so now that I have this taken care of, I can hopefully start my entry for the single color contest. Yay!! ^__^ Wow I just spammed this thing :3

Aw, I like this guy! Especially his hair/skin/eye color. There's just something really neat about it. Such a warm color. I think you did a lovely job with the dappled lighting, especially carrying it into the background as well. It's a nice touch and give the picture a foresty feel.
Onto the critiques!
I tried redlining this, but you did a good job with proportions and such, so I didn't think the redline would be of much help. The only things of major note are that his arms are different length, and one shoulder is a different size than the other. The scarf kind of masks this.
I really like the fact that he's got big shoulders, it's kind of endearing, but there's a disconnect between his arms/shoulders and the res of his body. Maybe it's just the combination of a thin body with the broad shoulders. I don't know. Just. The way his arms attach is stiff. I wish I could phrase this better!

Aww, he looks frustrated. I love the forest scene! I can't draw those, so that fascinates me. :) I love all of this picture. Keep up the good work, Puma!
