Another demonized version of a friend, who also likes to play magic. His hair is actually dyed, but now it's a lot less blue than it used to be. I tried to clean up my lineart, and I think it looks pretty good. Well, hope he likes his b-day present. :3

Yeah I really like the background on this one, very glowy ~ and the facial expression is good too. I guess my only criticism is to be more space conscious, as in, if you'd drawn the character a little higher up on the canvas so his feet were visible the image might look more complete. Either way, good work :D

THE FINAL CAT! Whoo, this is Winter (formerly Arty) who is the element of Ice. This is of course, the abstraction of Water. He's albino, though if he'd had colors he would be shades of blue. Thanks for all the kind words on these pictures, and for not getting completely fed up with all of my cats.

Yay! My art homework for this week is complete. :D

"Miranda's head rose above the searing flames and choking clouds of smoke, and she gasped in the clear air. 'Just a little longer,' she thought, 'we are almost free.' Her delicate cargo, a young princess named Alemere, dangled limply from her paws. Beating her wings as hard as she could, Miranda fought to rescue Alemere from the terrifying blaze that was once their homeland..."

...I totally just made that up as I was drawing this, lol.

I like that this is a scene, you can tell there is a story behind it. Also, the smoke! The dragon isn't in front of the smoke, it's flying through it, which I think is a really cool thing!

Thankyou, Als!<3 Most of it is experimentation with the pressure level settings, haha. And yeah, just settling into one sort of technique. And I suppose it's my style as well, it's really free and all, so the pen pressure just naturally slots into it perfectly.

@Silver: Haha, thanks!<3 Well, I love drawing them, and their personalities, and everything about them. The people I draw have to have an effect on me. If they don't, they turn out bland. Like, in this, I could actually feel how nervous Latvia was while I was drawing him, I could even feel the pressure of Russia's hand. And I could taste Russia's anger. It's like music or acting in a way. Have to feel the mood of the piece or the characters emotions and thoughts. Whoops, I apologize for the wall of prattling! Thanks for the comment!~<3

Wow, you've improved so much. Never having been good with cat's faces, I think you drew this one perfectly. My only critique would be that the background could use a bit more detail, and sharper shading, just so it doesn't contrast so much with the cat (though backgrounds are so boring and hard to draw, I know *__*)

Lightning is the abstraction of wind because of no other reason that it was the only place that fit. This is Storm (formerly Zappy). I. Had the hardest time deciding on colors. His original color was a goldenrod, but I kind of never like that. Eventually I chose purple and ended up with my favorite shade of muted purple with some neon thrown in.

If you imagine him yellow and black he's not too different. Except for the wings, which are new! He actually can't fly though (which is why he doesn't bother to take good care of his wings) I haven't decided whether this is a physical or psychological thing. It's just sort of a major part of his story-line and his personality... but he needed wings to fit with the designs of the rest of the cats.

Hello everyone! I hope people still remember by art, haha. It's been awhile since I've drawn here. Sorry 'bout that. Going to college and doing collegey things takes a lot of time. :c)

This is one of the many requests I have to do. This borealis is for patchy. He is not as fiery as I think you might have wanted him, but I'm trying to go for a more realistic approach to these creatures. His tail feathers are supposed to be that fire. He has a little comet fire ball by his eyes. I think it looks really nifty. :c) Also, he is supposed to look like he's angry and trying to scare someone off, but I wasn't able to quite catch it right. I want to also apologize for the wings. They did not turn out very good this time around. I'm trying to be less fuzzy, but I'm having a difficult time doing that (plus it's been a while since I've drawn on Oekaki boards). Sorry. :c(

In terms of anatomy, the body looks good, but the face needs some more balance in the proportions, mostly in the eyes (in my most unholy opinion). Also, the eyebrows are huge.

The picture looks really flat to me, ie, the wings are in the same plane as the body (when that can't possibly be true). If you zoom out a bit, change the angle of the lighting and viewpoint, you'll be able to achieve a better effect, I think.

Today's cat is Demi. I settled on Light being the abstraction of Fire since they both have a dual nature. I'm quite fond of using black in a lot of my designs, the problem with black is that it is incredibly hard to use, especially in a case like this. As a side note the feathers on her other wing are a golden-cream color, I just couldn't manage to fit them in without it looking strange.

SLENDER MAN!!!! GOD I've been absolutely fanactic about him lately. I've watched the movie, seen the game and hunted down pictures of him. This picture is so close to what slender man actually looks like it's creepy. Love how you got him in a epic stance showing all his arms it just makes him look more frightening to go againat.

The abstraction of the earth element is plant. Her name is Foxglove though mostly she is called Fox. Originally her name was Fern, but it was too soft. Her design was also really complicated. But that didn't fit with the other designs so I had to tone it down... a lot.
