The Art Gallery was updated with 22 works pulled from the archives on the main gallery page. I hope to finish archiving the gallery soon!

I deleted out over 1300 bot accounts on the forums yesterday. It was tedious work, but it had to be done. Once I get a new mod installed on the forums, registration there will reopen.

There are two new pieces of art in the Art Gallery. I went through the gallery and merged the sketches into the yearly portion of the gallery so there's less subsections. I think it worked out rather well.

I'm back from a holiday trip. It turns out that by fixing the contact form at the bottom of every page, I broke the contact form on the main page! The 404 error should now be corrected. I am working on updating all my offsite galleries, such as artwanted, DA, SA, FA, elfwood, and the like. The process has been long and time consuming, but I hope that across the board all NDA onsite and offsite content will be current! There is two new pieces of art in the sketchs section of the Art Gallery.

The Coloring Bin was updated with a new piece of lineart, The Earth Shaker.

The Contact links at the bottom of each page now lead to a page instead of a 404 error!

The public drawing board image on the main page was changed to feature a more recent piece of art.

The puppet avatars in the forums should now be caught up. If you have a puppet that was not uploaded, please post your request here and make sure to specify what category you wanted your avatar uploaded under!

A redo of a tutorial is now online. Photoshp Sparkles is a redo of the old Sparkles and Stars tutorial seen previously on the site, with a few more tips!

One new piece of art and 5 pieces of 2005 art were added to the Gallery.

Registration on the forums is temporarily shut down due to the need to cope with the bot program. What are bots? Basically programs - not people - will register with the forums and then user their accounts to post links to adware-strewn pages, pornographic websites, and seedy shops. They're now registering at a rate of around 30 a day, and its getting a bit much to deal with. I know that there are some modifications I can download to patch up the phpbb forums and make them more secure. Until that time I'm going to be deleting out all the bot accounts currently on the site, and looking into which modifications to install. Many of them are quite complicated and while I know my way around html fairly well, PHP is a new sort of beast and one that I have no idea how to work with.

If you would like a forum account, feel free to use the contact form and I will set one up for you by hand. I will need you to give me the e-mail you want to sign up with, the user name you desire, and the password you would like. Apologies for the inconvenience. I'm trying my best to get the site cleaned up and functioning once more!

I don't even know if today really qualifies as an update, but boy, was it a lot of work! Today I answered 2 weeks worth of e-mail, and started on the long and time consuming process of cleaning up the mess I allowed my inbox to become over the past year. If you sent me an e-mail in the past two weeks you should have recieved a reply!

I also went through my deviantbox and answered a week's worth of notes.

I went through the forums and deleted 100 bot accounts. There's still around 1200 accounts in the forums that do not belong to real people, but it will take some time for me to wade through them all and figure out who's got fishy e-mails and who seems legit. Oy!

A very minor update today. The Gallery was updated with a new dragon image on the top page as part of the layout. It is now different then the Dragon Paint dragon image. They used to be duplicates and I think its neat to have different dragons on different sections, as it gives people more eye candy to look at!

The Gallery was updated with 10 new pieces of art, archived under the Daily Skech Effort banner.

The Gallery was updated with 6 new pieces of art, archived under the 2007 banner. The Coloring Bin got a new piece of lineart today.

The Comics Page got a facelift. The TimeScapes and Phantom archives will soon be online once again, though they will be bare-bones archives. The character page / world setting page / comic faq / fanart galleries are all really only applicable to updating comics. Its time to lay these guys to rest. A teaser for butterfly is up: however, Butterfly the comic will not be live for a year or more. The teaser will lead to concept sketches and character info fairly soon, so that its its purpose.

The Misc page is now complete and fully funcational, with an updated links section, artist info, and frequently asked questions page.

The uh... updates page now exists. It kinda sorta used to lead to a 404...

There's so much to do! I tore down the old 2001-2005 galleries, and gave the Gallery index a facelift. A selection of the 2001-2004 while be archived in the "Ancicent Archives" section in a future update, I promise. Just not all of it. It's nice to be able to see the progress and evolution of an artist, but I don't think I really needed 300+ pieces of art that I no longer cared for up!

The Tutorials page got a facelift. I reused the dragon from the gallery index, but the tutorial index will soon get its own unique dragon graphic soon. The updates include a brand-new Digital Coloring Tutorial and Coloring Bin with 4 new images. For now, the 2 dozen old tutorials are offline. I'm going through them and deciding what to rearchive. Many of the tutorials from 2002 and such are outdated, using versiosn of Photoshop currently unavailable, and containing artwork that I know I can really spruce up. I hope to give clearer directions and better ways to do things in the respruced versions. This will be a time consuming process, so please do not hold your breath waiting for the old tutorials to come online. Completely new tutorials will also be being released, as well as some excerpts from my how-to-draw books, online for the first time!

TimeScapes and Phantom 20/20's websites were both torn down. The comics page currently leads to a 404, but I hope to fix this soon!

After two years of no real content updates, NeonDragonArt.com is live once more! I'm working on getting the new layout applied across the entire site, and with that new layout, new content comes as well.

NDA had too many different layouts for all of its subsections, and so much old/outdated/unessesary content, it was cumbersome to navigate the site. I'm going for a very very simple layout that should work on most resolutions, 800x600 and greater. If you see white behind the main menu, it's because you need to get the latest version of whatever browser you're using.

Onto what was actually updated today! The Main Page gets a facelift, and NeonDragonArt.com temporarily goes half functional. The Art by Year page of the gallery goes live. This page has most of the art from 2005, and some of the art from 2006 that never graced this site before. Once I get more of the site up and running, I will be going back to the gallery and getting the older and newer art up as well!
